We don't expect you to know all and everything day 1. Adaptability is what we're looking for. The rest, you can learn on the job.
What you'll do
- Features end to end: schema → API → UI/UX
- Integrations that refuse to behave, until you make them
- Work directly with client products
- Work directly with the entire MainQuest codebase — mainquest.net, our own product
- Build and design with AI in the loop (Claude Code), and know exactly where it stops being right
What you need
- Python, JS and TS, and real programming fundamentals
- Ideally some React or Next.js
- REST APIs, databases, SQL basics
- Git and Docker as muscle memory, not as bullet points
- The ability to read, debug and defend every line you ship, whoever or whatever wrote it
One project beats a thousand words of CV
We don't care how many technologies you listed under "Skills". Show us something you built. A side project, a bot, a scraper, an ugly little app that solves exactly one problem well.
